MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — Part of northbound Wisconsin State Highway 181 was closed Wednesday night in west Milwaukee after a crash, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The accident was reported at West O’Connor Street, just north of Interstate 94 and Petit National Ice Center. It was first recorded by 511 at 8:27 p.m.
Authorities did not immediately say what caused the wreck, but two left lanes were blocked in the immediate aftermath, and by 6:32 p.m., all northbound lanes of WIS-181 were shut down.

The closure lasted for about 10 minutes, as all lanes were announced cleared at 8:41 p.m.
