COLUMBIA COUNTY, WI — Part of westbound Interstate 90 was closed early Wednesday near west Portage following a crash, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The accident happened at mile marker 101.5, about four miles north of Wisconsin State Highway 33. It was first recorded by 511 at 1:51 a.m.
Few details have been released, but all westbound lanes of I-90 were blocked for nearly 1.5 hours, suggesting a major wreck.

By 3:19 a.m., multiple lanes had reopened, but the right lane remained closed for at least another 30 minutes.
At 3:50 a.m., officials announced that the scene had been cleared from the roadway.
