WASHINGTON COUNTY, WI — Part of northbound Interstate 41 was blocked Sunday morning in north Allenton after a crash, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The accident impacted the northbound lanes of I-41 at Exit 76 to County Highway D. Dispatchers were alerted shortly before 11:46 a.m.
Officials have not released details indicating the cause or nature of the wreck, but only the right northbound lane was initially blocked.

Shortly before 12:30 p.m., all northbound lanes were shut down and would not reopened until 12:49 p.m., over an hour after the initial report.
