MILWAUKEE, WI — At least one person was hospitalized Friday morning following a rollover wreck on Interstate 43 in Milwaukee’s Westown area, reports FOX 6 Milwaukee.
The accident happened on the northbound side of I-43 at the Marquette Interchange, near Exit 72A to West Michigan Street and North 10th Street.
While the cause of the crash remains under investigation, preliminary details indicate a vehicle slammed into a barrier.
A FOX6 crew at the scene said they observed a patient being placed into an ambulance for transport. Local officials have not confirmed the number of people hurt or the severity of their conditions at this time.
