MILWAUKEE, WI — A vehicle crash was reported last Wednesday, November 22, on an Interstate 43 entrance ramp near downtown Milwaukee, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The collision occurred on the northbound I-43 onramp from West Highland Avenue, in the city’s Westown area. It was first recorded by 511 at 2:36 p.m.
Authorities have not specified the cause of the accident, but the ramp’s two left lanes were initially closed for nearly 50 minutes.

By 3:25 p.m., only the far left lane remained closed, but the entire scene was not cleared from the ramp until 4:11 p.m., at least another 45 minutes.
