WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — A police pursuit caused multiple rollovers last Saturday, October 28, on Interstate 94 in northwest Waukesha, leaving one person critically hurt, according to Waukesha Alerts.
The wrecks were reported on the eastbound side of I-94 at North Grandview Boulevard. It prompted a heavy emergency response, with more than ten City of Waukesha Police Department units and six City of Waukesha Fire Department units dispatched to the scene.
Officials have not disclosed the circumstances behind the pursuit or the nature of the crashes, but all eastbound lanes of the highway were shut down.

It was not immediately clear how many vehicles were impacted, but the suspect involved in the pursuit was rushed to a level 1 trauma hospital where they were listed in critical condition.
