RACINE COUNTY, WI — One person was hit by a train late Sunday morning off Washington Avenue in Racine, according to TMJ4.
Local authorities say the incident unfolded on the tracks near a stretch of the road (Wisconsin State Highway 20) at 13th Street. It was first reported at 11:30 a.m.
As of this writing, it’s unknown what circumstances led up to the event, but first responders rushed the pedestrian to an area hospital with unspecified injuries. No updates regarding the victim’s identity or condition have been released.
No one aboard the train was reported hurt.
