MILWAUKEE, WI — Injuries sustained in a single-vehicle rollover wreck Saturday evening in northwest Milwaukee claimed the life of a 40-year-old driver, reports TMJ4.
The accident occurred on a stretch of West Capitol Drive at North 19th Street, in the city’s Rufus King area, at about 8:00 p.m.
Milwaukee Police said the victim was driving when they lost control of their vehicle for unknown reasons, causing it to hit a light pole. The vehicle flipped in the impact of the crash, forcing the driver to eject.
Emergency responders rushed the victim to a local hospital, where the patient succumbed to their injuries.
No other occupants or vehicles appear to have been involved, and no other injuries were reported.
The MPD continues to investigate.
