MILWAUKEE, WI — A vehicle accident was reported Friday morning on Interstate 94 in west Milwaukee’s Merrill Park area, according to 511 Wisconsin.
Officials said the wreck occurred on the westbound side of I-94 at mile marker 309, just west of North 35th Street. It was first reported by 511 at 6:10 a.m.
No information concerning the cause of the crash or the types of vehicles involved has been made available, but two left westbound lanes were closed for about 23 minutes in the immediate aftermath.

At 6:33 a.m., the scene had been cleared from the roadway, leaving all travel lanes open to traffic.
