FOND DU LAC COUNTY, WI — Authorities were called to a crash Thursday evening that closed part of Wisconsin State Highway 49 in both directions near Waupun, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The collision took place on a span of WIS-49 at County Road East and was first recorded by 511 shortly before 8:00 p.m.
No information concerning the cause of the wreck or the involved vehicles has been shared, but both northbound and southbound lanes of WIS-49 were blocked for over four hours.

By 12:03 a.m. into the next morning, crews had cleared the accident from the roadway and all lanes were announced reopened.
