MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — Two northbound lanes of Interstate 41 were blocked Wednesday evening in West Allis after a crash, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The collision occurred on the northbound side of I-41 approaching Exit 1B to South 92nd Street. It was first recorded by 511 at 6:51 p.m.
While it was not immediately clear what caused the accident, the two-lane closure remained in place for about 48 minutes, suggesting a more involved emergency response.

By 7:39 p.m., only the right lane was closed, and at 7:52 p.m., less than 15 minutes later, crews had cleared the scene from the roadway.
