COLUMBIA COUNTY, WI — Authorities were dispatched to a crash Thursday afternoon that blocked part of Wisconsin State Highway 16 in both directions near Fall River, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The collision took place on a stretch of WIS-16 at Steele Road and Savanna Road. It was first reported at 2:52 p.m.
Very few details have been released, but both eastbound and westbound lanes of WIS-16 were closed for over an hour, suggesting a major accident and a more involved emergency response.

Shortly after 4:00 p.m., crews had removed the scene from the roadway, restoring all travel lanes to traffic.
