MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A vehicle crash Monday morning prompted a full closure of westbound U.S. Highway 18 in southwest Wauwatosa, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The accident impacted the westbound lanes of US-18 (West Bluemound Road) at Wisconsin State Highway 181 (Glenview Avenue), in an area east of Wisconsin Lutheran College. It was first recorded by 511 at 8:30 a.m.
While officials have not released details regarding the cause or nature of the wreck, all westbound lanes of US-18 remained blocked for over 25 minutes.

By 8:56 a.m., crews had cleared the scene from the highway and all lanes were reopened to the public.
