OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, WI — Two left northbound lanes of Interstate 41 were closed Wednesday evening in west Appleton due to a collision, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The crash occurred on the northbound side of I-41 at Exit 137 to Wisconsin State Highway 125, or West College Avenue. It was first recorded by 511 at 7:37 p.m.
Officials have not said what caused the accident or how many vehicles were impacted, but the two left northbound lanes remained blocked for nearly 45 minutes, suggesting a more involved emergency response.

Shortly after 8:20 p.m., crews had cleared the scene from the interstate and all travel lanes were reported reopened.
