MILWAUKEE, WI — A collision was reported late Wednesday morning on Wisconsin State Highway 181 in west Milwaukee, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The crash happened on the northbound side of WIS-181 at the intersection with Interstate 94, in the Honey Creek Parkway area. It was first recorded by 511 at 10:06 a.m.
A left northbound lane was closed for more than 1.5 hours following the initial report, indicating a major accident and a more involved emergency response.

By 11:40 a.m., crews had cleared the scene and all travel lanes were reopened to traffic.
