RACINE COUNTY, WI — A 5-year-old girl was flown to a hospital last Friday, September 22, after a pedestrian crash in downtown Racine, according to FOX 6 Milwaukee.
The incident took place in the area of 7th Street and Park Avenue, near the Racine County District Attorney’s Office. Racine Police were called to the scene shortly after 1:00 p.m.
Officials have not said what led up to the event, but the young girl, who suffered injuries believed to be non-life-threatening, was transported by airlift as a precaution.
No information on the driver has been shared, but they remained at the scene and cooperated with an investigation, which remains ongoing. No charges have been confirmed at this time.
