MILWAUKEE, WI — A 4-year-old girl was critically injured Friday evening, September 1, when she was struck by a vehicle whose driver fled in the scene in north Milwaukee, reports TMJ4.
The incident happened in the 3700 block of North 3rd Street, at the intersection with West Nash Street, in the WIlliamsburg Heights neighborhood. It was first reported at about 6:00 p.m.
Details are limited, but Milwaukee Police said the young girl was crossing the street on foot when she was hit by a driver in an unknown vehicle, which left the area before authorities arrived.
The child was rushed a local hospital with critical injuries. No updates on her condition have been released at this time.
