MILWAUKEE, WI — A semi-truck overturned Monday morning, closing a section of northbound Interstate 43 near Milwaukee’s Westown area, reports TMJ4.
The accident impacted the northbound lanes of I-43 at the Marquette Interchange, just southeast of Marquette University.
Officials have not indicated the cause of the rollover, but the closure remained in place for hours as crews worked to get the semi upright and clear the vehicle. By 6:30 a.m., the scene had been cleared and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
It remains unclear whether another vehicle was involved or if anyone was seriously injured.
