MILWAUKEE, WI — An injury crash involving a motorcycle late Thursday resulted in at least one fatality on Interstate 94 near Milwaukee’s Cannon Park area, reports FOX 6 Milwaukee.
The accident happened on the westbound lanes of I-94, near the South 84th Street/Glenview Avenue/Wisconsin State Highway 181 entrance ramp. It was first reported by the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office at 11:27 p.m.
Officials have not specified the circumstances of the crash or whether another vehicle was involved, but at least one person died following a crash involving a motorcycle.
MCSO deputies, an off-duty firefighter, and later Milwaukee Fire crews, responded to the scene.
All westbound lanes were shut down during the response and initial investigation. By 4:30 a.m. Friday morning, all lanes had been reopened.
