KENOSHA COUNTY, WI — Multiple neighbors stopped to pull a 33-year-old man out of a burning vehicle after it crashed into a tree Tuesday in Pleasant Prairie, reports FOX 6 Milwaukee.
The events unfolded in the area of 88th Avenue and 70th Street. Local police received a call about the fiery crash at about 5:30 p.m., but four to five area residents were able to remove the male driver from the burning vehicle in four minutes.
Preliminary details indicate the man was driving when, for reasons still unclear, he lost control of his SUV. The vehicle then veered off the roadway, struck a tree in a front yard of a residence, and then caught fire.
Though the man was trapped by flames and smoke, the quick actions of the neighbors allowed him to leave the wreckage with only minor injuries.
