MILWAUKEE, WI — A 10-year-old child was hurt Monday morning due to a pedestrian crash involving a motorcycle in northwest Milwaukee, reports TMJ4.
The incident occurred near North 76th Street and West Florist Avenue, in the Sherman Park area, at about 9:12 a.m.
A preliminary investigation by the Milwaukee Police Department indicates the child was crossing the street when they were struck by a motorcycle with a 47-year-old operator.
It was not immediately clear what circumstances led up to the event, but the child was transported to a local hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
Authorities said the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
