OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, WI — Authorities were called to a crash Friday morning on Wisconsin State Highway 96 near west Appleton, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The collision took place on the eastbound side of WIS-96, west of County Highway CB, and just northeast of Appleton International Airport. It was first recorded by 511 at 7:42 a.m.
Although the circumstances of the accident have not been disclosed, the right eastbound lane was closed to traffic for more than 30 minutes.

At 8:14 a.m., crews had removed the scene from the roadway and all travel lanes were reopened.

It was not immediately clear how many vehicles were involved or whether anyone was seriously hurt.
