MILWWAUKEE, WI — A rollover crash Wednesday night sent an SUV off Interstate 95 and into a parking lot at Milwaukee’s American Family Field, according to TMJ4.
Preliminary details indicate an SUV was entering the I-95 westbound onramp when its driver appeared to lose control on the wet roadway. Moments later, the vehicle slammed through a chain link fence and overturned in the Molitor Parking Lot of the stadium.
Authorities noted the incident occurred shortly before 7:00 p.m., on the an evening when tens of thousands of people were at the arena to see the singer P!nk. Though the SUV landed within several feet of at least two attendees, no major injuries were reported.
According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office, intoxication is not a suspected factor in the crash and the driver did not receive a citation.
