MILWAUKEE, WI — A 31-year-old man died Tuesday afternoon after being shot while driving and crashing his vehicle, which caught fire, in northwest Milwaukee, reports TMJ4.
The events unfolded in the 8300 block of West Derby Place, off West Appleton Avenue, in the Long View neighborhood. It was first reported at about 12:11 p.m.
According to Milwaukee Police, the victim was driving when an unknown suspect fired multiple gunshots at him. The victim then crashed his car into a pole, and moments later the vehicle caught fire.
First responders rushed he victim to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was later pronounced deceased.
