WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — Local firefighters and other area agencies responded to a crash Thursday morning on Pewaukee Road in north Waukesha, according to Waukesha Alerts.
The accident took place on a span of the road (Wisconsin State Highway 164) near Interstate 94. At least three Waukesha Fire Department units responded to the scene at around 10:43 a.m.
At this time, no information regarding the cause of the wreck or the involved vehicles has been provided, but mutual aid was requested.
A photo captured at the intersection suggests at least two vehicles were involved. A traffic backup can be seen forming in at least two different directions.
