WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — Fire crews responded to an injury crash involving multiple vehicles Monday evening on Interstate 94 in northwest Waukesha, according to Waukesha Alerts.
The accident occurred on a span of I-94 at North Grandview Boulevard. Six Waukesha Fire Department units responded to the scene at around 5:25 p.m.

Little information has been made available, but authorities said at least three vehicles veered off of the highway during the crash, causing at least one occupant to be trapped in wreckage. An early report also indicated one car had caught fire following the crash.

Shortly after 5:30 p.m., dispatchers reported that as many as three patients may have been hurt, but the extent of their injuries remains unclear as of this writing.
