RACINE COUNTY, WI — Authorities were called to a wreck early Sunday evening that blocked part of Wisconsin State Highway 31 near northwest Racine, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The collision took place on a stretch of WIS-31 at 4 Mile Road, near the Root River and just east of St. Catherine’s Trout Ponds. It was first recorded by 511 at 5:23 p.m.
While little information has been shared, both northbound and southbound lanes of WIS-31 were shut down at the intersection for about 80 minutes.

By 6:43 p.m., crews had finished clearing the scene from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
