MANITOWOC COUNTY, WI — Authorities were dispatched to a crash Wednesday afternoon on northbound Interstate 43 near south Newton, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The wreck occurred on the northbound lanes of I-43 at mile marker 142, about half a mile south of County Road F. It was first recorded by 511 at 12:18 p.m.
While the cause of the accident and the number of involved vehicles were not immediately clear, part of northbound I-43 was closed for about 18 minutes.

By 12:36 p.m., the scene was reported cleared with all lanes reopened to traffic.
