MILWAUKEE, WI — Authorities were dispatched to a crash early Tuesday evening on Interstate 43 in downtown Milwaukee, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The collision took place on the northbound lanes of I-43 at West State Street, in the city’s Westown neighborhood. It was first recorded by 511 shortly after 5:00 p.m.
While no information indicating the cause of the wreck has been shared, the three left northbound lanes were blocked for nearly 15 minutes.

By 5:17 p.m., the scene had been cleared from the interstate and all travel lanes were restored to traffic.
