OZAUKEE COUNTY, WI — Authorities responded to a crash late Wednesday night that closed part of northbound Interstate 43 in east Grafton, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The collision was reported on the northbound side of I-43 at Exit 92 to Wisconsin State Highway 60, shortly before 11:45 p.m.

While very few details have been shared, all northbound lanes of I-43 were closed in the immediate aftermath. Nearly 15 minutes later, the exit ramp was also blocked off from traffic.
The closure remained in place for more than 2.5 hours, suggesting a major accident and a more involved emergency response.
Since the roadway was announced cleared at 2:47 a.m. the following morning, no information regarding the cause of the wreck or the involved vehicles has been disclosed.
