SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, WI — Three people suffered serious injuries Monday evening when a food truck erupted in fire at Sheboygan’s Vollrath Park, reports TMJ4.
Sheboygan Fire Department crews were dispatched to the scene shortly before 6:00 p.m.
Officials said although firefighters arrived to find the fire already extinguished, three people had sustained severe burn injuries.
First responders administered Advanced Life Support to the patients on the scene before transported them by ambulance to an area hospital.
Though the cause of the explosion was not confirmed, the SFD issued a public reminder to take “all safety precautions” when cooking using flammable gas.
