WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — Two Waukesha County sheriff’s deputies were injured Monday morning when their squad car was struck by another vehicle on Interstate 94 in Waukesha, reports FOX 6 Milwaukee.
The collision occurred on the eastbound lanes of I-94, near Exit 293 to County Highway T, at around 10:30 a.m.
A preliminary investigation by the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department indicates the squad was heading eastbound on the highway when it was hit by a second vehicle that had hydroplaned.
Two deputies who were inside the squad suffered minor injuries, and both were transported to an area hospital.
No injuries to the driver of the causing vehicle were reported, and no other information has been provided at this time.
