MILWAUKEE, WI — Authorities are investigating the death of a woman who was found deceased inside a burned vehicle Wednesday morning in northwest Milwaukee, reports WISN.
Authorities said the first responders arrived at an alley off North 37th Street and West Roberts Street, in the Washington Park area, in the later hours of the morning.
At this time, it remains unclear whether a crash caused the fire or what caused the victim’s death, but footage captured at the scene shows the fire-damaged driver’s side of a red sedan. Crews worked into the afternoon to have the car towed from the area.
An investigation by the Milwaukee Police Department remains ongoing. Anyone who has relevant information is urged to call investigators at 414-935-7360. Those wishing to remain anonymous can reach Crime Stoppers at 414-224-TIPS, or via the P3 Tips app.
