MILWAUKEE, WI — Authorities responded to a car fire Thursday morning that blocked part of eastbound Interstate 794 on Milwaukee’s Jones’ Island, according to TTWN Milwaukee.
The incident impacted the eastbound lanes of I-794 between Daniel W. Hoan Memorial Bridge and South Carferry Drive. It was first reported by TTWN at 9:30 a.m.
It was not immediately clear whether a collision caused the blaze, but the closure remained in place for at least 20 minutes.
