MILWAUKEE, WI — Property damage was reported early Saturday, July 15, after a car crashed onto a private lawn in Milwaukee’s Hampton Heights area, reports FOX 6 Milwaukee.
The incident occurred at a residence off the intersection of North 64th Street and West Villard Avenue. It was first reported at around 4:00 a.m.
Authorities have not released specific details, but a speeding driver crashed their car into the yard after being struck by another vehicle. The car, which came to rest on a lawn, caused extensive damage to the home’s fence, swing set, and a number of plants.
No major injuries were reported following the event, but FOX 6’s report noted that the crash marks the second time since December 2022 that a driver has crashed into the same property. The Milwaukee Police Department said that the intersection saw six crashes in 2022.
