MILWAUKEE, WI — An 18-year-old was left critically injured late Sunday after being shot and getting into a two-car wreck in west Milwaukee, according to TMJ4.
The events unfolded near North 32nd Street and West St. Paul Avenue, in the Merrill Park area, shortly before 12:00 a.m.
Details remain limited, but Milwaukee Police said the teen was driving southbound in the 400 block of North 32nd Street when he sustained a gunshot wounds. Shortly after, his vehicle collided with a parked and unoccupied car.
The teen driver, who suffered life-threatening injuries, was rushed to a local hospital.
No other major injuries were reported following the incident.
The circumstances of the event remain unclear, but an investigation and search for an unknown suspect remain underway.
