SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, WI — A local resident died early Tuesday, July 4, after a pedestrian crash in northwest Sheboygan, according to TMJ4.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Deputies said the fatal incident occurred on Enterprise Drive. Though the exact time and location of the event have not been confirmed, TMJ4 first reported on the event at about 1:26 p.m.
No information on the circumstances of the crash has been disclosed, but deputies confirmed a male pedestrian died at the scene after being hit by a vehicle.
A witness said they immediately alerted authorities after hearing a thud outside their window and then observing the victim at rest in the nearby ditch.
As of this writing, the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office has not identified the victim or shared any details regarding the suspect. It was not immediately clear whether speed contributed to the crash.
