GREEN BAY, WI — A vehicle crash late Sunday night closed part of Main Street on Green Bay’s east side, according to We Are Green Bay.
The accident impacted a span of the road between Saint George Street and North Irwin Avenue. It road closure was first reported by the Green Bay Police Department at 11:34 p.m.
Officials have not specified the circumstances of the event, but viewer footage sent in to Local Five suggests a vehicle struck and caused significant damage to a building.
Motorists were advised to avoid the scene and seek alternate routes, including University Avenue, Walnut Street, and East Mason Street.
