WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — Three people were sent to a hospital Wednesday morning following a head-on collision in northwest Waukesha, according to Waukesha Alerts.
The accident happened at the intersection of North University Drive and Silvernail Road. Four fire department units, three police department units, and multiple ambulances were dispatched to the scene at around 10:32 a.m.

While the circumstances of the wreck have not been disclosed, fire department officials said it resulted in “major damage” and involved multiple victims.
Three people were ultimately transported by ambulance to an area hospital One patient was left with head trauma and another appeared to suffer from heart failure and a hand injury.
