MILWAUKEE, WI — Four people were taken to a hospital Monday morning after a crash between a passenger car and a MCTS bus in Milwaukee’s Metcalfe Park neighborhood, reports TMJ4.
The wreck occurred near North 35th Street and West North Avenue at about 6:00 a.m.
A Milwaukee County Transit System spokesperson said the Route 21 bus was traveling eastbound on North Avenue when the passenger car struck the bus.
As a result, the bus operator and three passengers aboard the bus, as well as driver of the striking car, were all taken to a local hospital for a medical evaluation.
Photos captured at the scene show significant damage to the sedan, which appeared at least partially burnt, with its debris flung across the roadway. The bus did not appear to have sustained major damage.
