WASHINGTON COUNTY, WI — A 51-year-old man from Hartford died late Wednesday after being struck by a vehicle while riding a motorcycle in the Town of Erin, reports CBS58.
The fatal crash happened near the intersection of Wisconsin State Highway 167 and County Trunk K, at around 11:40 p.m.
According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the man was operating a motorcycle heading northbound when the bike collided with a southbound car.
The rider, who was ejected in the crash, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Officials said the other driver, a 37-year-old man from Oconomowoc, was suspected of impairment and taken into custody for operating while impaired (OWI).
No other details have been provided at this time, but the WCSO continues to investigate the incident.
