KENOSHA COUNTY, WI — A 36-year-old man died early Sunday morning after an apparent pedestrian crash on Wisconsin State Highway 158 in Kenosha, reports FOX 6 Milwaukee.
Kenosha County officials said a deputy saw the man lying on the shoulder of the road while driving westbound on WIS-158 at about 2:00 a.m.
The deputy initiated life-saving measures at the scene, but the victim remained unresponsive and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office has not released a description of the suspect, but the striking vehicle is believed to have sustained significant damage, as car parts were left behind at the crash site.
