WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — Authorities are searching for a motorcyclist who crashed at a northeast Waukesha intersection and fled the scene with injuries believed to be severe, according to Waukesha Alerts.
The wreck occurred at the corner of East Moreland Boulevard and Springdale Road. Three units with the Waukesha Police Department were dispatched to the scene shortly before 4:06 p.m.
Authorities said the injured motorcyclist was last observed in the area of Oakland and Arcadian avenues, suffering from “severe facial trauma and bleeding heavily form the head.”

Responding officers and Waukesha Fire Department crews were unable to locate the rider immediately after the crash, but Waukesha Memorial and Ascension hospitals were alerted to the the possibility of the victim arriving for care.
The MPD has not released a description of the bike or the rider as of this writing.
