MARINETTE COUNTY, WI — Authorities were called to a vehicle wreck Tuesday morning that closed U.S. Highway 141 in both directions near north Beaver, reports We Are Green Bay.
The collision occurred at the intersection with West 22nd Road, in an area south of Crivitz.
No information on the cause of the accident has been shared, but the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene, where both northbound and southbound lanes of US-141 were blocked.
The closure was expected to remain in place for over two hours as crews worked to clear the scene.
Northbound motorists were advised to go west on 22nd Road, north on 17th Road, and then east on 24th Road. Southbound motorists could follow the reverse course of the recommended route.
At this time, the sheriff’s office has not confirmed any serious injuries in the event.
