BROWN COUNTY, WI — Authorities were called to a crash Tuesday morning that blocked a section of northbound Interstate 43 on Green Bay’s east side, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The collision took place on the northbound lanes of I-43 at Exit 187 to Webster Avenue, or East Shore Drive, near the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary. It was first reported by 511 at 9:57 a.m., when only a left lane was closed.
Few details have been made available, but by 10:11 a.m., all northbound lanes of I-43 were shut down in the area.

The closure remained in place until 11:14 a.m., more than an hour later, suggesting a major accident.
