MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A driver crashed their vehicle into an entrance at Nathan Hale High School in West Allis Wednesday night, according to WISN.
West Allis Police said the incident occurred off the intersection of South 116th Street and West Lincoln Avenue at around 7:15 p.m.
It remains unclear what led up to the event, but preliminary details indicate a driver ran a stoplight and slammed into one of the school’s entrances.
First responders transported the driver and sole occupant of the striking vehicle to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Though three staff members were inside the building at the time of the crash, no other injuries were reported. In an email sent to the students’ families, the school principal said classes were to resume as normal on Thursday.
No charges have been reported as of this writing.
