MILWAUKEE, WI — A man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries Monday evening after being hit by a vehicle in northwest Milwaukee, according to TMJ4.
The incident occurred near the intersection of North 37th Street and West Lisbon Avenue, in the Washington Park area, at around 5:50 p.m.
Milwaukee Police said a vehicle heading westbound on Lisbon Avenue hit the unidentified man, who was crossing the street on foot. After striking the male pedestrian, the driver proceeded westbound without stopping to render aid.
First responders rushed the victim to an area hospital. At this time, officials have not disclosed any updates on the patient’s condition.
