KENOSHA COUNTY, WI — A 24-year-old man was injured Thursday night when he was struck by a vehicle in south Kenosha, according to TMJ4.
The Kenosha Police Department said the incident took place on Sheridan Road near 68th Street.
Authorities did not provide information on how the events unfolded, but the man was struck by a driver in a southbound car.
The victim, who suffered serious injuries, was first transported to an area hospital and then flown to Froedtert Hospital. No updates on his condition have been released.
The driver stayed behind at the scene and cooperated with an investigation conducted by the Major Crash Assistance Team.
A section of the road was blocked off by Kenosha Police during the response.
