MILWAUKEE, WI — A semi-truck jackknifed Sunday night, blocking a section of northbound Interstate 43 in northwest Milwaukee, according to WISN.
The accident happened on the northbound lanes approaching West North Avenue, in the Triangle North neighborhood.
It was unclear what caused the incident, but the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office said no one was reported injured.
In the immediate aftermath, authorities had all northbound traffic detoured off the interstate at North Avenue. All northbound onramps from McKinley Avenue, Fond du Lac Avenue, Kilbourn Avenue, and Highland Avenue were also closed as emergency responders tended to the scene.
