MILWAUKEE, WI — Authorities responded to a collision Tuesday afternoon that blocked all of southbound Interstate 43 in Milwaukee’s Triangle neighborhood, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The crash happened near Exit 73 to Winnebago Street and was first reported by 511 at 2:49 p.m.
It was unclear what caused the accident, but all southbound lanes in the area were closed for at least 45 minutes.

By 3:34 p.m., crews had cleared the scene from the roadway and all lanes were reopened.
